Last Saturday was our kickoff meeting for the Women of Valor social club and I'd have to say it was quite successful. There was laughter, tears, prayer, and bonding amongst the group of women, and that was before we even started talking about our monthly reading!
For the month of January we focused on the first ten keys in Sophia Nelson's 'The Woman Code: 20 Powerful Keys to Unlock Your Life':
- Code 1 - Know Your Value
- Code 2 - Make Peace with Your Past
- Code 3 - Teach People How to Treat You
- Code 4 - Live Authentically
- Code 5 - Be Accountable for Your Life
- Code 6 - Guard Your Heart
- Code 7 - Be Resilient
- Code 8 - Age Gracefully
- Code 9 - Do Not Gossip
- Code 10 - Apologize Quickly
So many great opinions and points were made by various women on each code and a lot was learned, definitely by me. We're actually going to stay in the same book for February's reading and cover the last ten keys so if you haven't had the chance to pick up the book yet you can get it at quite a few retailers including Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and even Walmart!
